The Icelandic summer night is without a doubt one of the most amazing things to experience in life. The sound is different and it smells like magic. In this atmosphere we will hike to Valahjalli.

We meet at Hotel Eskifjörður at 19:00 and drive to Karlsskáli, where we start the walk. We walk from there through landslides of the same name and up to Valahjalli where one can find the wreckage of a German military plane that went down in Sauðatindur in May 1940. There, we also find magnificent traces of a large rockfall from in 2014.

We will go to a secret pond and enjoy nature and the view over to the island Skrúður and Reyðarfjörður.
